36th annual Iowa Shrine Bowl, features 92 high school student athletes who graduated in 2008 and 60 cheer squad members, benefit event for the Shriners Hospitals for Children$10 (children 5 years and younger are free) 515-276-3319

An intensive weekend session dedicated to learning the art of Venetian glass bead making. Students will create unique beads by melting glass rods with a handheld torch.
